How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on knitwear and most wood craft items within the continguous USA.

Shipping costs to US territories, Hawaii and Alaska will be calculated based on the weight and quantity of items purchased. 

Larger items, such as wood furniture or custom shelves are exempt from the free shipping policy.  Shipping costs will be calculated based on the weight, quantity, and size of the items purchased. 

I live in Chicago, can I arrange for a local pick-up/delivery? 

YES!
Arrangements can be made for local pick-up/delivery (limited to the far North Side of Chicago - Rogers Park, West Ridge, Andersonville, Lincoln Square, Edgewater), as well as Evanston and Skokie. Contact us before placing your order to make arrangements and to recieve a discount code/instructions for check-out!

How long do orders take to ship?


We process and package orders within 4 business days. You'll receive an email notification once your order is ready for shipment and on its way to the post office or UPS (whichever carrier has 3-5 pricing that aligns with your shipping fee).

Once shipped, when will my order arrive?

United States orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days. These are estimates and are not guaranteed, please allow for extra time around holidays. Tracking is provided, but may take up to 48 hours for tracking info to update.

Why don't you ship worldwide?

Unfortunately, international shipping regulations and fees are continually changing making full worldwide shipping too difficult for us to keep up with at this time. (Sorry, we're just a husband and wife team running an at home shop!) We may offer more shipping options in the future, so please check back.



Shop Policies

All sales are final, we don't accept returns or exchanges (except in very limited circumstances). Every item is checked for quality but may have slight variations, given that these are handmade items. We try to represent our products accurately in photos, but colors may also appear differently on different screens. If you have any problems or questions about your order, contact us, and we'll do our best to resolve any issues. We want you to be happy with our products!

 


Changes cannot be made after a shipping label is created and the package is out of our hands. If your order is undeliverable and returned due to an incorrect address, you'll have to pay the shipping fee again to re-deliver to a new address. Please double check that your shipping and contact information is correct before checkout.

Your privacy matters to us and your information is used only for shipping your order or contacting you in the event of a problem. You can opt in to our mailing lists for email newsletters, but this is opt in only.

This shop uses SSL which provides a layer of security when you enter your info at checkout. Payments are securely processed by Paypal or Stripe.



FAQs 


  1. How do I care for my Knitwear?    Most of our knitwear can be machine washed in cold water and either dried on low heat, or dried flat (no heat). You should not bleach or iron our knitwear, nor should it be dry cleaned. Please note the specific care instructions included with each knit item, and follow those instructions. 
  2. How do I care for my Wood products? Wood products used for decor can be lightly dusted with a dry cloth.  Wood products used for preparing or serving food should be washed with soap and water, but never soaked or run in the dishwasher.  Food prep or food serving items can also be lightly treated with food safe oil and/or wax every so often to preserve the look of the wood grain. Beeswax can be used on the sides of the pencil box lids in order to smooth the movement of sliding the lid in/out.
